Soccer Without Borders
Julia Cho / Playing For Change
My New Yorker piece (https://www.newyorker.com/culture/personal-history/longing-for-more-stoppage-time) seemed to connect with so many people, and so many reached out and shared with me what soccer (football!) has meant to them.I thought I'd use Dan's birthday this Saturday to help bring the beautiful game to disadvantaged youth through Soccer Without Borders.Feel free to donate if you feel so led.

About Soccer Without Borders
To use soccer as a vehicle for positive change, providing underserved youth with a toolkit to overcome obstacles to growth, inclusion, and personal success.
"Our adaptable program model includes three pillars: soccer, education and community. Our activities combine these pillars into a holistic experience where youth develop their own agency, a sense of belonging, and the skills to contribute, building a healthy identity and the social capital they need to reach their personal goals."
