 This year, I've chosen to donate my birthday to Soccer Without Borders (SWB) and more specifically, its Girls In The Game branch!

The goal of SWB is to use soccer as a vehicle for positive change, providing under-served youth with a toolkit to overcome obstacles to growth, inclusion, and personal success. Girls In The Game serves girls in under-represented communities including refugee and immigrant girls from all over the world to give them the opportunity to get into the world's game. Participating in team sports helps our youth build confidence, improve academically, and develop as leaders.

For my birthday, instead of any gifts, I'm hoping that you will consider donating to this great cause. Any amount you can spare will go along way towards helping girls around the world get the opportunities they deserve!
